Affiliate & Monetization Disclosure

FTC affiliate disclosure for Alex Journeys — commissions, partner examples, /tools outbound links, and that opinions are Alex’s own.

This page explains affiliate and advertising relationships for Alex Journeys, operated by Fernandes Transports LLC (a New Jersey limited liability company using Alex Journeys as its registered alternate business name). Some links or hotel and experience referrals may earn the business a commission. Recommendations and opinions remain Alex's own. The total price, taxes, fees, and cancellation terms should always be reviewed with the provider before you pay.

This journal participates in affiliate and partner programs. When you follow a qualifying link or complete an eligible hotel or experience booking, Fernandes Transports LLC, doing business as Alex Journeys, may earn a referral or partner commission. Those commissions help keep the journal online (hosting, tools, time on the road).

Affiliate relationships do not dictate what gets published. Recommendations are based on personal use and trust — not whoever pays the most.

Where you'll see them

  • The Tools I use page (/tools) — outbound partner links for stays, insurance, money, connectivity, and similar.
  • Guides, destination notes, and story posts when a tool or booking partner is genuinely relevant.
  • Occasional sponsored or partner content — clearly labeled when it is sponsored.

Booking and affiliate partners

Nuitée supplies the hotel inventory and booking/payment service for eligible stays offered on Alex Journeys; the business may receive a partner commission on completed bookings. Viator provides experiences that travelers book directly on Viator's website, and qualifying referrals may earn an affiliate commission. Some articles and the Tools I use page may include other separately identified affiliate links. These relationships depend on currently active programs; naming a provider does not mean every offer pays a commission.

Ads, including Google AdSense, and sponsored content may also be displayed when enabled and will be identified where required.

Opinions are my own

Reviews, tips, and “I use this” notes reflect Alex's experience. Partners do not get editorial control over what is written. If something is gifted or sponsored, it will be disclosed.
